Planned integration

Planned Dynamics 365 Business Central Integration for Shipments

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a mid-market ERP for finance, operations, and inventory. Our roadmap includes a direct integration that will sync purchase orders, receipts, items, and landed cost between Cargizon and Business Central, giving your team ocean shipment visibility inside the ERP.

Planned Integration Capabilities

These features are on our roadmap for the Business Central integration. CSV import and export is available today as a bridge.

Planned Purchase Order Sync

Our roadmap includes syncing purchase orders between Business Central and Cargizon, so procurement and shipment tracking share the same orders without manual re-entry.

Shipment Milestone Updates

A planned feature will surface Cargizon container tracking and milestones against the related Business Central purchase orders, so your team sees inbound stock status inside the ERP.

Receipt Sync

When goods are received in Cargizon, a planned integration is designed to create or update purchase receipts in Business Central, keeping warehouse and finance records aligned.

Landed Cost Data Transfer

Freight, duty, and handling captured in Cargizon are planned to flow into Business Central item charges for accurate inventory valuation.

Invoice Data for Matching

Commercial invoice line items extracted by AI in Cargizon are designed to push into Business Central for matching against purchase orders and receipts.

Item Mapping

We are designing a mapping layer so Business Central items, including descriptions and HTS codes, stay consistent with the Cargizon item catalog.

Why Connecting Cargizon and Business Central Matters

Business Central handles finance and operations. Cargizon handles the shipment journey. Connecting them will close the data gap.

1

Add ocean shipment visibility to Business Central

Business Central is strong on finance, inventory, and operations, but it does not natively track ocean containers, milestones, or demurrage and detention. Cargizon fills that gap today, and a planned integration will make the shipment data flow into Business Central.

2

Eliminate double entry between systems

Re-keying purchase orders and shipment details across Business Central and a separate tracking tool is slow and error prone. A planned integration would keep both systems in sync automatically.

3

Accurate landed cost without spreadsheets

Allocating freight, duty, and handling across shipments by hand is tedious. Cargizon captures these during the shipment lifecycle, and the planned integration will push finalized costs into Business Central item charges for proper valuation.

4

Faster matching with AI-extracted invoice data

Cargizon extracts line items from commercial invoices with AI. Once the planned Business Central integration is available, that data can flow in for matching against purchase orders and receipts, speeding up your payables.

5

Use Cargizon today, connect Business Central when ready

You do not need to wait for the integration to get value. Cargizon works standalone with CSV import and export. When the Business Central integration ships, connecting the two will be a configuration step, not a migration project.
