Cargizon Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: July 18, 2026
DRAFT — for counsel review. Incorporated into the Cargizon Terms of Service.
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to everyone who accesses the Cargizon Service, including customers, their users, and external participants using token-based links. Capitalized terms have the meanings in the Terms of Service.
1. Prohibited Uses
You must not, and must not permit or assist anyone to:
Unlawful activity
- Use the Service in violation of applicable law, including customs, trade, export control, anti-corruption, and privacy laws
- Use the Service to conceal, facilitate, or document unlawful shipments (including prohibited goods, smuggling, or transactions with sanctioned parties or embargoed destinations under Canadian, U.S., EU, UK, or UN sanctions)
- Submit content you have no right to submit, or that infringes intellectual property, privacy, or confidentiality rights of others
Security violations
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without written authorization; breach or circumvent authentication or security controls
- Access or attempt to access another organization's data
- Interfere with the Service's operation, including denial-of-service, flooding, or resource abuse
- Circumvent rate limits, usage safeguards, or plan restrictions (including artificially splitting usage across accounts)
- Share, sell, or expose API keys or tokens; use another person's credentials
Abuse of features
- Send unlawful, deceptive, or unsolicited bulk messages through or to the Service (including to email import addresses)
- Upload malware or malicious code; use document upload or external-portal features to host or distribute harmful or unlawful files
- Scrape or bulk-extract data from the Service except through documented APIs within your plan's limits
- Use AI features to generate unlawful or deceptive content, or misrepresent AI outputs as verified facts in dealings with third parties
- Resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties as a bureau or on a standalone basis, except as expressly agreed in writing
Misrepresentation
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation
- Remove or obscure proprietary notices
2. External Participants
Token-based links (e.g., vendor PO confirmation, broker document upload) may be used only for the purpose for which they were shared, only by the intended recipient organization, and must not be forwarded to unrelated parties. Upload limits (file size, type, and count) must be respected.
3. Fair Use of AI and Data Features
AI processing and third-party data lookups are subject to technical limits (rate limits and monthly safeguards) designed to keep the Service reliable for all customers. Systematic attempts to exceed them, or automation designed to exhaust them, is a violation of this AUP.
4. Reporting
Report suspected violations or security vulnerabilities to security@cargizon.com. Good-faith security research conducted without harming the Service or accessing others' data will not be treated as a violation; do not publicly disclose vulnerabilities before we have had a reasonable opportunity to remediate.
5. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may, where reasonably necessary, remove content, suspend or restrict access, terminate accounts for material or repeated violations, and notify authorities where required. Where practicable, we will notify you and give you an opportunity to remedy the issue before suspension.
