Developer API for Cargizon
Access your supply-chain data programmatically. Versioned REST endpoints, scoped API-key authentication, signed webhooks, and an OpenAPI spec are live today. CSV export is available too.
What the API gives you
A versioned REST API, signed webhooks, scoped keys, and an OpenAPI spec, all available now.
REST API endpoints
Read and write shipments, purchase orders, invoices, items, contacts, locations, sales orders, receivings, and inventory. Standard REST conventions, JSON request and response bodies, pagination, filtering, and an updated_since parameter for incremental sync.
Signed webhooks
Subscribe an HTTPS endpoint to events like shipment status changes, purchase order status changes, invoice creation, and sales order status changes. Each delivery is HMAC signed and retried with exponential backoff. Configure endpoints in Settings, Webhooks.
Scoped API key authentication
Create keys in Settings, API Keys with permissions limited to specific resources (read or write per resource). Keys are hashed at rest, shown once, revocable, and rate limited at 120 requests per minute.
OpenAPI specification
A machine-readable OpenAPI 3.1 description of every endpoint, parameter, and scope is published at /api/v1/openapi.json. Point your code generator or API client at it to get started fast.
CSV export
Prefer files over code? CSV export remains available for shipments, purchase orders, invoices, and contacts, alongside the API, for spreadsheets, BI tools, and one-off ERP imports.
Predictable errors and limits
Every error is a consistent JSON envelope with a code and message. Per-key rate limiting keeps usage fair, and a duplicate or a business-rule conflict comes back as a clear 409 rather than a silent failure.
Why a Developer API Matters for Your Supply Chain
Programmatic access to your data unlocks automation, custom integrations, and event-driven workflows across your stack.
Connect Cargizon to any system
If your ERP, WMS, accounting tool, or internal app can make HTTPS requests, it can exchange data with Cargizon. Push purchase orders in from your ERP, pull shipment status and receiving data back, and keep item and contact records in sync.
Automate workflows with webhooks
Rather than polling, subscribe to events and react as they happen: create a task when a shipment reaches a milestone, update your WMS when goods are received, or flag a purchase order in your system when its status changes.
Sync efficiently with updated_since
Every list endpoint accepts an updated_since timestamp, so a scheduled job can pull only what changed since its last run instead of re-reading everything. Combine it with pagination to move large datasets reliably.
Grant least-privilege access
Issue a read-only key for a reporting dashboard, a write:invoices key for a billing integration, and a write:shipments key for a tracking sync. Each key only touches the resources you granted it.
